As a clinical psychologist, I work with adults, carrying my professional practice forward in Berlin and online. My journey in psychotherapy has been shaped by different clinical settings, psychotherapy centers, long-term professional training, and the life stories of many different people.
Today, my work draws on several psychotherapy orientations, with psychodynamic and existential perspectives holding a significant place. In the therapeutic process, I care not only about the difficulties a person is facing, but also about how they make sense of their own life story, their relational dynamics, recurring patterns, and the therapeutic relationship built within the therapy room.
The themes of belonging, identity, a sense of foreignness, cultural adaptation, and rebuilding a life — which often accompany the experience of migration and expat life — are also among the themes I work with.

During her undergraduate studies in psychology, she gained one of her first clinical experiences through a clinical psychology internship at the French Lape Hospital in Istanbul. Following this experience, she began her adult-focused Clinical Psychology master's program at Üsküdar University, which she completed with honors. During her master's studies, between 2018 and 2020, she conducted individual psychotherapy work with university students under supervision at Üsküdar University's Psychological Counseling Unit, while also gaining clinical experience at NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital. Her master's thesis focused on adults receiving treatment for alcohol and substance use disorders.
A significant part of her professional development has been in Cognitive Therapy and Schema Therapy. She worked with Dr. Emel Stroup, a Beck Institute faculty member and its representative in Turkey; during her time as her assistant, she took an active role within CBTiSTANBUL in organizing training and workshops for psychologists and clinicians, preparing professional content, and various clinical training initiatives. During this period, she completed Beck-oriented Cognitive Therapy training in depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, exposure and response prevention (ERP), post-traumatic stress disorder, and clinical assessment.
In Schema Therapy, she completed the International Society of Schema Therapy (ISST)-approved Schema Therapy training program delivered by Dr. Alp Karaosmanoğlu. As part of her professional development, she also attended trainings and congress sessions by internationally recognized clinicians and researchers such as Dr. Judith Beck, Prof. Dr. David Veale, Dr. Gregoris Simos, and Dr. Christine Padesky. She has completed the Foundational Training in Dynamic Psychotherapy given by Prof. Dr. Doğan Şahin.
She worked with adults at various psychotherapy and psychological counseling centers in Istanbul, conducting clinical work particularly on anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, and recurring life patterns.
She currently lives and continues her professional work in Berlin. In Berlin, she works with adults as a psychological specialist in the field of psychosocial support, while also continuing her individual work with adult clients online. In her work, she takes Dynamic Psychotherapy as her foundation, drawing on existential and schema therapy perspectives as well, forming a holistic approach. She values addressing the difficulties a person experiences not only through their current symptoms, but within the context of their life story, early experiences, relational patterns, unmet emotional needs, inner conflicts, and the meaning they give to their life.
She has taken part as a speaker in the following trainings and workshops, delivering the presentations herself.
Spoke at an online workshop titled "Anger and Suicide" for psychology students.
Spoke at a workshop held together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Artıran at the Institute of Rational Psychology.
